Hitchin has some great rail connections and as well as being within
commuting distance of London also offers quick and easy access to the
rest of the country, and Europe too!
Hitchin station is around 5 minutes from the town centre by car or
20 minutes on foot. There are plenty of taxis available right outside
on the station forecourt if you need one.
The station is serviced by First Capital Connect and
is within 10 minutes of connections to the East Coast Mainline
and 30 minutes from the Eurostar Terminal at St Pancras which makes Hitchin well
placed for rail access to the rest of the country.

- Letchworth.
By changing at Stevenage (10 minutes away by train) you
can pick up the East Coast Mainline Intercity services to Leeds, Doncaster, Hull, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
